The most surprising thing about cruising is that we were the only ones on our first cruise. Most of our fellow passengers cruise several times a year. In fact there was one lady there on her 99th cruise. There are certainly benefits to cruising often - you gain loyalty points. The more times you cruise with the same cruise line, the more benefits are included such as an invitation to the Captain' cocktail party; free internet connection (it cost me 65cents a minutes); even free laundry!
